Jimmy Grieve
Vice-President
My name is Jimmy Grieve and I am a senior at Bellevue. Although I was born in the Seattle area, I moved away for a few years attending middle school in the Bay Area and Sophomore year at IMG Academy. I am really excited to be back at BHS and it was an easy place to come back to because of the friends I made on the Medina Elementary playground. I am a Varsity athlete in both Water Polo and Lacrosse. I’ve coached junior lacrosse camps for my club team ADVNC, did service work in Costa Rica, was a 3-year coach for kids with disabilities and am a member of the National League of Young Men. If you know me, you know that I really love being around young kids and helping them have fun and achieve their best.

I have previously done lots of volunteering through Jubilee Reach and have volunteered at youth soccer camps because I love working with kids! I’m currently playing lacrosse and soccer at Bellevue High School which are two of my favorite sports. In my free time, I like to spend time with my friends and family!

Camille Grieve
Community Service and Partnerships Director
My name is Camille Grieve and I am a junior at Bellevue. Like my brother, I mixed up my schooling with 5 years in the Bay Area and my Covid year (Freshman) at IMG Academy. The change of schools and the moves made me appreciate community, friends, and familiarity. It also expanded my network of friends which are now all over the world. At IMG, I was part of the ‘girls empowerment club’ which was a great way to build community, I directed basketball and soccer programs for youth with disabilities, did service work in Costa Rica, and tutor for math and more. I am excited to be back at BHS and I play on the Soccer and Lacrosse team. I look forward to spending more time with all the kids in the community!

June Field Days
Sports and Service
Closing out a most unusual school year for the elementary school campers with a “normal” end of year activity - Field Day!
Historically, Field Day marks the celebration of school ending and summer beginning. Teens for Others wanted campers to have that feeling, so we invited campers for a day of games, music and arts and crafts.
Pictured here, campers paint kindness rocks to lay around the neighborhood so that while on their summer walks, people will see happy, thoughtful messages to remind them of the good things in the world.
Two happy campers work together to create the perfect color for their kindness rocks.
Teens for Others camps were developed based on activities the campers enjoyed most. Four-Square tournaments, basketball against the camp counselors, capture the flag games and arts and crafts were top of the list.
The campers always said how much they liked being a part of figuring out what activities they would do each day.

Holidays
Teens for Others selected Jubilee Reach as the charity to support with a diaper and wipe drive every holiday season.
Campers were invited to decorate bags used for dropping off the items at Jubilee Reach. They also wrote notes to families and learned more about serving others.
In total we collected in 2021:
15 packs of baby wipes
12 packages and boxes of diapers
decorated 18 bags
many holiday cards for families

Ellie organizes all of the donations!
Happy Holidays!
Owen packs up the diapers.
